Other university alumni groups to restore Catholic identity

Marquette’s Catholic identity crisis is not unique. Departures from and abuses of Catholic teaching has been increasingly commonplace at Catholic colleges and universities across the country since the Land O’ Lakes Conference and Statement in 1967.

No longer tolerant of this abuse, alumni from these institutions have begun forming groups dedicated to shedding light on where and when their alma maters fail to adhere to their claimed Catholic identities and working to help restore those identities in any way they can.
